Athletic Background:
Kate played soccer at Libertyville FC 1974 up until she switched to Eclipse and then FC United. During her youth soccer years, Kate and her team won the USYS National Championship in PK’s as well as multiple State Cup Championships. In the summer she played for the WPSL Semi-Pro team, Chicago House. This past fall at Drake, Kate played 9 games for the bulldogs and had 13 saves.
Achievements:
- Fall 2024: 13 saves and 2 shutouts for the Bulldogs. 2nd in Missouri Valley Conference
- 2024: All-Sectional for IHSA, Defensive Player of the Year in the WPSL and All Conference best 11
- 2023: 3rd place in IHSA State
- 2022: USYS National Champion, Golden Glove Recipient
Fun Facts:
Off the pitch, Kate enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and listening to music. Her favorite memory of soccer was saving two penalty kicks in the USYS National Championship in 2022. Kate plans on working in finance and living in Chicago after college.
